Planned Giving at CHA

The Hilltop Society

"Recognizing those who establish their own legacy to ensure future generations of the Chatsworth Hills Academy experience."

All those who include Chatsworth Hills Academy in their estate planning and inform the school of this become members of The Hilltop Society. Members of The Hilltop Society provide countless opportunities for future generations at Chatsworth Hills Academy.

If you wish, you can use one or more of the structures listed below to establish a gift fund at Chatsworth Hills Academy in support of a specific facility, program or activity that has special meaning to you. A Planned Gift may take many forms. It can be an outright, one-time gift or a sophisticated tool in financial and estate planning. Such gifts may be directed toward endowed scholarship funds, teaching chairs, the arts, professional development, or general endowment purposes. Through a Planned Gift, donors can make a lasting contribution to Chatsworth Hills Academy while reducing the size of their taxable estate, thus lowering their estate tax liability.

Chatsworth Hills Academy recommends that interested alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends contact their legal and financial advisors to discuss the following Planned Giving Opportunities:

  • Fixed Amount or Percentage of Estate
  • Testamentary Charitable Remainder Trusts
  • Testamentary Charitable Lead Trusts
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts
  • Charitable Gift Annuities
  • Charitable Lead Trusts
  • Gifts of Life Insurance
For more information about The Hilltop Society and Planned Giving, please contact the Head of School at 818.998.4037.
